McKayla Stubbs
8+ years in event planning and corporate social media roles
After starting her career in event planning, McKayla transitioned into corporate social media manager roles working for large health insurance companies both locally and nationally.
Throughout her years of corporate experience, McKayla managed all aspects of social media running both local and national-scale accounts on various platforms including: Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Yelp, and Google Business. She was responsible for all aspects of the social media process from strategy to content creation to engaging with customers to retain a positive brand reputation.
Outside of her corporate experience, she enjoys making short-form video content and hosts a reading podcast with her best friend.

In 2024, McKayla and Matthew decided to bring their shared skills and expertise together and made the leap to create Rhode Social, a freelance digital marketing agency based in Rhode Island.
We look forward to partnering with small businesses to elevate their social media strategy and provide new and creative tactics for them to reach their ideal customers all through social media.
